First, you must register

Now we can keep track of who's submitting what, and you won't have to submit your contact information with every event. Begin by creating a username and password. You will receive a confirmation email once you've completed the registration process. If you DO NOT, check your SPAM filter, and if its still not there, email  jfrome@biv.com. The Log in to post your event form is to the right.

Second, enter your event

Click the Add your event button on the navigational bar above (you have to be logged in).

Enter your event details. Don't forget to put in the date and time using the Calendar tab. If you have a promo code, put that in too!

Don't forget to double-check your spelling and phone numbers! We don't copy-edit or proof your online entries.

When you're done, press the Save icon up top. It looks like a floppy disk (remember those?).

If you want to check and see whether or not your event has been posted, use the search bar to enter the title of the event.

If you need to edit your existing event, click on the My Events bar on the bottom of the events calendar page OR once you've logged in and found your event, click on the paper and pencil icon beside your event.

Third, pay for your listing

BIV Datebook also runs in Business in Vancouver, your source of regional business intelligence since 1989. Guaranteeing that your event will print costs $50 a week plus GST, and is well worth the cost.

BIV Datebook listings are all subject to approval from Business in Vancouver. For print, events within 2 weeks of publication and which are deemed relevant for BIV business readers will be given priority. "Guaranteed listings" do not guarantee publication as they are subject to editorial discretion. However, if approved, and space is available these listing will be published. "Guaranteed listings" not approved for publication will be refunded. All approved event listings will be listed on BIV Datebook online.
